Andrea Fazzari is a self taught international environmental portrait and travel photographer with a background in fashion and film. A self-described curious citizen of the world, she believes there is nothing more exciting than experiencing and learning about the cultures and people she photographs. Andrea’s painterly, elegant portraits – from Oscar de la Renta in New York to Gordon Ramsay in Thailand, or Tufi Duek in Brazil – reflect her unique perspective.
Andrea began her career after being chosen as one of PDN’s “30 Photographers to Watch” in 2004. She has since received awards for her photography and website, such as the Lowell Thomas Gold Award for Photography and PDN’s Photo
Annual for Best Websites. Andrea has been a guest speaker at conferences such as Taste3, the arts and culture conference in Napa Valley, and her work on six continents as Starwood Hotel Group’s Global Explorer is featured in their Luxury Collection travel guides published by ASSOULINE. You can see her photographs and hear her narrations of her travels at http://luxurycollectionexplorers.com/andrea-fazzari/journeys
Before becoming a photographer, Andrea worked in fashion public relations for such notable companies as Giorgio Armani and Dolce & Gabbana, and film public relations for Miramax Films. Her knowledge of fashion and cinema influence her sensibility and vision.
Andrea has lived in France, Italy, and Hong Kong and speaks French, Italian,
Spanish, and English. She is studying Japanese.
When Andrea is not exploring the globe, she is based in Manhattan and Hong Kong.
